During the meeting they discussed the issues of political dialogue, including interparliamentary cooperation between Ukraine and Spain, and expressed interest in exchange of visits of Ukrainian and Spanish parliamentary delegations.

The Minister informed the Spanish partners about priorities of Ukraine's foreign policy, measures undertaken by the Ukrainian authorities in preparation for signing of Association Agreement with the European Union, as well as the current issues of Ukrainian OSCE Presidency. Leonid Kozhara invited the Chairman of the Senate of Spain to visit Ukraine at a convenient time.

The Spanish side expressed its support for the European aspirations of Ukraine and for the prospects of conclusion of Association Agreement with the EU.
