First Deputy Foreign Minister Ruslan Demchenko takes part in Ukrainian and Russian Presidents' meeting at Ukrainian Fleet Day and Naval Forces of Russia Day celebration

Within the framework of the participation of Ukrainian and Russian Presidents in celebration, the meeting of the heads of the Sub-commission on the stationing of the Russian Federation Black Sea Fleet on the territory of Ukraine - First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Ruslan Demchenko and State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Grigoriy Karasin took place.
Special attention was paid to the issues related to the social and economic development of Sevastopol and other cities where the Russian Federation Black Sea Fleet is stationed.
The joint celebration of the 200 years since birthday of Taras Shevchenko in 2014 was discussed in the context of the other issues of bilateral agenda. The sides also exchanged views on some issues of international and regional agenda and realization of the priorities of Ukraine's Chairmanship in the OSCE in 2013.
