During the meeting the current condition and prospects of further development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Ukraine and Lebanon in political, trade economic and humanitarian fields were discussed, as well as collaboration of the two countries within the framework of the international organizations.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the issue of formation of a new government in Lebanon and impact on the situation in the country and Middle Eastern region of the events in neighboring Syria.
