Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko held a meeting with the Ambassadors of the Republic of Hungary, the Republic of Indonesia, the State of Kuwait, Romania, the Republic of Slovakia, and the representatives of the Embassies of the Czech Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ukraine
On March 18-th, 2011 the Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko held a meeting with the Ambassadors of the Republic of Hungary, the Republic of Indonesia, the State of Kuwait, Romania, the Republic of Slovakia, and the representatives of the Embassies of the Czech Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ukraine. During the meeting Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko briefed foreign diplomats on the preparatory work for the forthcoming conference dedicated to the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Chernobyl accident in April this year.
The participating sides discussed the format of cooperation within the framework of the participation of their respective delegations in the high-level meeting "Kyiv summit on safe and innovative use of nuclear energy” and the international Conference on funds' accumulation for completion of Chernobyl projects.
The participants emphasized on the importance of holding such forums taking into consideration the urgency of strengthening global nuclear security, having also expressed their readiness to make efforts to ensure the highest possible level of representation of their countries on the aboventioned events.
