International Conference “Trends of Economic Cooperation of Ukraine with African Countries at the Present Stage”, held on 15 August 2013 at the premises of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, was organized by the Public Council of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The conference was opened by Special Representative of Ukraine for the Middle East and Africa Mr. Gennadiy Latiy, who stressed the importance of further development of political contacts between Ukraine and African countries as well as widening bilateral trade and economic, and educational cooperation.
The presentation of industrial capacities of leading Ukrainian enterprises was demonstrated during the event.
The conference was attended by the heads of diplomatic missions of African states accredited in Ukraine as well as representatives of business, academia of Ukraine and media.
