Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia María Ángela Holguín.

Bilateral cooperation, topical issues of international agenda, and collaboration within international organizations were discussed. Colombian Foreign Minister accepted the invitation to visit Ukraine.

Ministers signed the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Colombia on Visa Exemptions for Nationals Holding Diplomatic, Official and/or Service Passports.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister discussed the issues of bilateral and parliamentary cooperation with President of Chamber of Representatives of the Congress of Colombia Hernán Penagos Giraldo. The Colombian side confirmed its intention to establish Colombia-Ukraine Friendship Group in the Parliament of Colombia.

Minister Kozhara met with acting Minister of National Defense of Colombia Jorge Bedoya Vizcaya to discuss the issues of military and technical cooperation between Ukraine and Colombia.

During the meeting with President of Bogotá Chamber of Commerce Mónica de Greiff, the Parties exchanged views on deepening mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation and establishing direct contacts between business communities of both countries.

The Ukraine-Colombia business forum was held within the frameworks of Minister Kozhara’s official visit to Colombia.
