Mr. Victor Mayko, the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, received Mr. Mikheil Ukleba, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Ukraine

Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr. Victor Mayko met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Ukraine Mr. Mikheil Ukleba. During the meeting the parties discussed key issues of bilateral relations, particularly the cooperation in political sphere, trade and economy.
The diplomats agreed to continue active political dialogue between Kyiv and Tbilisi including the contacts at the level of the foreign ministries.
The special attention was paid to the participation of international observers during the presidential election in Georgia scheduled for October 2013, particularly in the framework of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights.
The parties also discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation within GUAM.
