At the meeting the parties agreed on the need of restoration of regular Ukrainian-Lybian high-level political dialogue, as well as activities of the Ukrainian-Lybian Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation.

Ministers pointed out the positive trends in bilateral economic and commercial cooperation and emphasized the importance of their future securing.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine paid a special attention to the question of detention of Ukrainian citizens in Libya. The Lybian Minister assured of the readiness of his Ministry to actively cooperate with the Ukrainian side with the aim of solving the above problem.
