On the 25th of September 2013, on the sidelines of the General Debate of the sixty-eighth session of the United Nations General Assembly, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine met with Mr.Wang Yi, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.

At the meeting the parties discussed the time-table of high-level bilateral contacts for 2013-2014. Special attention was paid to preparation of the visit of President of Ukraine H.E.Mr.Viktor Yanukovych to China and notional subjects of the forthcoming Ukrainian-Chinese summit.

Ministers discussed positive results of the second session of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Chinese Commission held in Beijing on 23-24^th of September this year, as well as mentioned the evident activization of bilateral economic and commercial cooperation.

Moreover, the sides pointed out a high level of Ukrainian-Chinese cooperation within the framework of the UN and other international organizations and came to an agreement to further promote such interaction.

Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine invited the Minister of Foreign Affairs of China to visit Ukraine with official visit. The invitation was accepted with gratitude.
