Particular attention was paid to Ukraine’s 2014 Chairmanship in the CIS and Tajikistan’s current chairmanship in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The two Sides expressed their readiness to support high dynamics of political dialogue, discussed the ways of strengthening trade and economic cooperation, prospects of locating the premises of diplomatic missions of Tajikistan and Ukraine, respectively, in Kyiv and Dushanbe, as well as prospects of setting the monuments to the prominent figures of Ukrainian and Tajik cultures in the capitals of the two countries.

The Ministers signed the Program of cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Tajikistan for the years 2014-2015.
