On October 16, 2013 OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara visited the OSCE Border Management College in Dushanbe, where he had a meeting with the administrative staff and professors of the college, which is a unique OSCE institution, as well as met the students of international training course.
Border Management College, which launched its activities in Dushanbe in 2009, was established for holding specialized training courses for the representatives of all OSCE participating States. Since its establishment, over one thousand and three hundred officers of border services and police, customs service, agencies on drugs control and combatting transnational crime attended the training.
OSCE Chairperson-in-Office greeted the students of the international training course, visited the College library, as well as met three Ukrainian management officers currently attending the training in Border College.
The same day Leonid Kozhara completed the program of his working visit to the Republic of Tajikistan and departed for Turkmenistan.
