Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara met with representatives of Italian business

The meeting hosted by Italian trade promotion agency (ICE) involved over 40 presidents of national industrial associations and CEOs of Italian companies, representing the sectors of energy, engineering, environment protection, agriculture etc.
Minister invited the participants to enhance business activity in Ukraine. The round table participants exchanged views on current trends of development of Ukrainian-Italian trade and investment cooperation and discussed new opportunities for European business to be offered by the Association Agreement and free trade area between Ukraine and the EU.
In this regard, the round table participants specifically welcomed the new prospects of Ukrainian-Italian cooperation to be opened in agriculture, particularly grain production, engineering, telecommunications, IT, pharmaceuticals, gas and energy production, food processing and tourism.
