Deputy Minister Andrii Olefirov meets OSCE/ODIHR Group of experts' leader observing Parliamentary re-run elections in Ukraine Jonathan Stonestreet

Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Olefirov met with the leader of the Group of experts of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights observing the Parliamentary re-run elections in five single mandate constituencies Jonathan Stonestreet

During the meeting an exchange of views regarding the course of the re-run elections in five single mandate constituencies of 15 December 2013 took place.

Andrii Olefirov thanked OSCE/ODIHR for participating in the observation of the repeat elections in Ukraine and underlined importance of further cooperation with this institution. Ukrainian side rendered maximum efforts to invite and provide favourable conditions for 385 international observers from 11 countries and 10 international organizations.

On his part, Jonathan Stonestreet appreciated openness of the Ukrainian public authorities for cooperation with observers, thanked the MFA of Ukraine for its assistance to his mission and informed, that official report of the OSCE/ODIHR observers would be prepared within two months.
