The two sides discussed issues of utilizing OSCE institutions expertise in achieving solution to a current situation in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

The Ukrainian side expressed its support to the existing initiative within the OSCE to create an OSCE monitoring mission to Ukraine, which would establish facts regarding aggressive actions of the Russian side against territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. Both sides emphasized the need to resolve the current situation in the Crimean peninsular peacefully.

The OSCE delegation plans to visit Crimea on 5 to 6 March.
