The sides discussed the political situation in Ukraine, including the developments in Crimea. Ali Kemal Aydın reiterated the position of Turkey's leadership concerning the respect of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, underlining that Crimea is an integral part of the Ukrainian State.

The sides also agreed to give further impetus to the development of the Ukrainian -Turkish strategic partnership.
