On December 6, 2011 Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Kostyantyn Gryshchenko met with Director of the OSCE Bureau for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) Janez Lenarcic in the framework of the OSCE Ministerial.

The meeting was focused on the vital issues related to upcoming Ukraine's presidency in the OSCE in 2013.

Minister Gryshchenko emphasized on the interest of Ukraine to closely cooperate with ODIHR to ensure further development of democratic institutions and procedures in our state, especially, in terms of upcoming parliamentary elections in October 2012.

ODIHR is the most recognized and respectful international institution in the field of election observation in the OSCE area.
