Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Deshchytsia met with OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier who is visiting Ukraine on the invitation of Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk to take part in the 7th Kyiv Security Forum.
During the meeting the two sides discussed the OSCE engagement in resolving the current difficult situation in and around Ukraine caused by the Russian military occupation and illegal annexation of Crimea as well as its overall intervention in Ukraine’s internal affairs.
In particular, the sides exchanged views on the work of the OSCE Human Rights Assessment Mission, the OSCE special monitoring mission to Ukraine, on the implementation of the National Dialogue Project in Ukraine.
Lamberto Zannier confirmed readiness to use all possible tools and experience of the OSCE in supporting the Ukrainian Government in its efforts to overcome present challenges.
