The sides discussed ways of cooperation to strengthen democracy in Ukraine and in the world, fighting corruption, promoting the development of civil society. They have agreed to exchange experience in these areas.  

The Secretary general praised the role of the Ukrainian society in the struggle for democracy, freedom and human rights.
