During the meeting the Chinese diplomat was informed on the Ukrainian side’s evaluation of fulfillment of the agreements reached during the quadrilateral meeting in Geneva on April 17, 2014 to resolve the situation in Ukraine. In particular, the Ambassador received detailed information of all measures taken by the Government of Ukraine since the adoption of the Geneva declaration. The Ukrainian side also emphasized that Kyiv continued to urge the Russian side to begin implementation of the above agreements and withdraw the troops from the Ukrainian border.

The sides also discussed current issues of the Ukraine-Chinese strategic partnership.
