During the meeting the Sides gave high appraisal to the recent Ukrainian-Saudi political contacts. The Sides particularly noted the visit of the Minister of agriculture and transport of Saudi Arabia to Ukraine and the visit of the Minister of agricultural policy and food of Ukraine to Saudi Arabia, which significantly pushed bilateral trade turnover up to the level of 660 ml. US dollars during the last nine months.

A schedule of upcoming bilateral visits at high level was discussed as well as the issues of interaction of both countries on the international fora. The situation in the Middle East and North Africa was also discussed.
