During the meeting the issues of development of Inter-parliamentary interaction were discussed. The sides assign an importance of exchanging the visits between parliamentarians as a fundamental component of evolving Ukrainian-Indian Inter-parliamentary relations.

In the context of expanding of bilateral cooperation between Parliaments of Ukraine and India, Minister K.Gryshchenko underlined a key role of functioning of Inter-parliamentary friendship groups.

During the meeting an interaction between two legislative bodies on the international arena, in particular in the framework of Inter-parliamentary Union also was raised.

K. Gryshchenko invited M. Kumar to pay an official visit to Ukraine in the nearest future. The Speaker informed about her firm willingness to visit Ukraine in 2012.
