Acting Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr. Andrii Deshchytsia received State Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Georgia Aleksi Petriashvili.

During the meeting, A. Deshchytsia and A.Petriashvili praised the current Ukrainian-Georgian cooperation and stressed the importance of maintaining the dynamics of political dialogue at high and the highest levels.
The Parties confirmed stable position on mutual support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine and Georgia within their internationally recognized borders. The issues on bilateral cooperation in the framework of international organizations in the context of overcoming the consequences of the aggression of Russia against Ukraine and Georgia were discussed.
A.Deshchytsia and A.Petriashvili discussed prospects for further development of the EU initiative - "Eastern Partnership". The counterparts agreed to exchange experience in the preparation for the implementation of association agreements with the European Union, in particular, establishment of a national coordination mechanism regarding the European integration.
