Ukrainian delegation was headed by H.E. Yevhen Mykytenko, Special representative of Ukraine for the Middle East and Africa. The South African side was headed by H.E. Rapulane Molekane, Deputy Director of European Department of the Ministry for International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa.

During the meeting the Sides exchanged views on the range of issues on the development of bilateral relations.

The Sides agreed the need to intensify the bilateral political dialogue at the high and the highest levels and to widen the cooperation between the two Ministries at bilateral level and in the framework of international organizations.

The Sides exchanged the views on the possible approaches of settlement the ongoing conflicts in Africa and Middle East.

The Sides emphasized the intensification of bilateral cooperation in economic, infrastructural, aircraft, energetics, in particular nuclear, and cultural spheres.

Special attention was paid by the Sides to the development of bilateral legal base and the preparation to the signing of the range of agreements, first of all in economic spheres.

Duringvisit the South African delegation will visit the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the State Space Agency of Ukraine.
