During the meeting both officials discussed the exchange of visits between the two countries, further development of Ukraine-Sudan cooperation in the sphere of transport, in particular possible participation of Ukrainian companies in developing of the Sudanese railway infrastructure and establishing the direct flights between Kyiv and Khartoum.

Yevhen Mykytenko and Feisal Hamad praised the fact that bilateral trade volumes between the two countries increased by 44% in the first quarter of 2012 as compared to the first quarter of 2011.

The Sides also exchanged views on the latest developments in Africa.
