On 4 July 2014, the regular consultations between Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya and Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine Ertugrul Apakan took place.

Representatives of the Anti-Terrorist Centre at the Security Service of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine also took part at the meeting.  

During the consultations the participants discussed practical aspects of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission engagement in the implementation of the accords, reached at the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Ukraine, Russia, France and Germany on 2 July 2014 in Berlin and reflected in the Joint Declaration on the settlement of the situation in the East of Ukraine.
