On 8 July the regular consultations between Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya and Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine Ertugrul Apakan took place. The OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine Madina Jarbussynova also took part at the meeting.  

During the consultations the participants discussed practical aspects of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission engagement, within its mandate, in the monitoring process and verification of the current situation in Donetsk and Lugansk regions, in particular on the Ukrainian-Russian border.

Moreover participants discussed ways in order to engage the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine into projects aimed at resolving the situation in Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
