The sides discussed the activities of the UN system in the field of promotion of gender equality and exchanged views on the cooperation between Ukraine and the United Nations in this area. The special attention was paid to the coordination between the UN and other international organizations, in particular, the Council of Europe and OSCE with regard to the programming  and project design.

Sergiy Kyslytsya, as a Chair of the Gender Equality Commission of the Council of Europe, shared the information on the activities of this body as well as the experience of the Council of Europe on gender equality issues.
