During the meeting the situation in Eastern and South-Eastern Ukraine in the context of Russian direct military aggression was discussed. Mr.Lubkivsky expressed gratitude to the German side for supporting territorial integrity and European choice of Ukraine.

The parties agreed upon the importance of Ukraine's coordinated actions with its partners, namely Germany, in the search of ways for peaceful settlement of the situation as well as in rebuilding Donetsk and Luhansk regions. "Ukraine is grateful to the Federal Government of Germany for the decision to strengthen technical and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine", Deputy Minister said. He also drew attention to the work that is being conducted by the Ukrainian side in order to counteract the Russian black propaganda.
