The sides exchanged views on the development of the current situation in the East of Ukraine in connection with the military aggression of the Russian Federation against our country.

The focal attention was paid to the efforts aimed at the implementation of the agreements reached during the consultations within the framework of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk on 5 September.

During the meeting certain issues of the Ukrainian-Latvian relations were discussed.
