Olena Zerkal: EUBAM assistance in the field of integrated border management will bring Ukraine closer to visa free regime with the EU

Оn September 17, 2014, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on European Integration Olena Zerkal held a meeting with Head of the European Union Border Assistance Mission to Ukraine and Moldova (EUBAM) Francesco Bastagli.
The results of the mission activities and priorities for the future cooperation were discussed during the meeting in the context of implementation of the Association Agreement.
The Ukrainian side noted the importance of Mission’s assistance in implementing of the 2-nd phase of the Visa Liberalization Action Plan, with regard to integrated border management improvement.
