On 3 June 2010, Mr. Pavlo Klimkin, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, met with Mr. Jänis Särts, State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of the Latvian Republic, who is paying the working visit to Ukraine on the invitation of the Ministry of Defence of our State.

During the meeting, they discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation in the military and technical spheres, as well as issues of Latvia’s support of Ukraine’s European integration aspirations. They also exchanged views concerning some issues of international and regional security.
