Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kostiantyn Hryshchenko held a telephone conversation with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the initiative of the latter.
During the talk, the Secretary of State confirmed her intention to pay an official visit to Ukraine on July 4-5 this year. During the visit, she is to meet with President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry and other high officials.
The foreign ministers noted mutual interest in deepening the strategic partnership between Ukraine and the United States of America. They also discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between the two countries, and the most topical issues on the international agenda.
