O.Zerkal expressed gratitude for the UK strong support of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and informed the British side about the latest developments in the East of Ukraine in the context of the ongoing aggression by Russia.

The head of the British delegation John Whittingdale confirmed the UK solidarity with Ukraine and stressed on its readiness to provide further support to reforms in our country.

Special attention was paid to steps in stabilizing the economic situation in Ukraine and implementing reforms by Ukraine‘s Government.

J.Whittingdale stressed on importance of the EU consolidated position to assistance and counteraction against the Russian aggression.

The parties also discussed the issues of Ukraine's European integration and cooperation within international organizations.
