On May 13, 2010 Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleksander Horin met the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Ukraine Akbar Ghasemi Aliabadi, who presented copies of his Credentials.

In the course of the meeting the Parties discussed the issues of further development of relations between Ukraine and Iran.

There was exchange of views on the perspectives mutually beneficial of bilateral co-operation in the trade and economic spheres.
