On March 23, 2010 Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Kostyantyn Gryshchenko met with the Minister of Tourism of the State of Israel Stas Misezhnikov who is visiting Ukraine to participate in the international tourist exhibition “Ukraine – traveling and tourism 2010”.

During the meeting the Ministers highly appraised the current state of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Israel, pointed out the vast potential for the development of cooperation in trade and economic sphere, tourism and humanitarian domain.

The Ministers agreed that conclusion of the Agreement on waiver of visa requirements between Ukraine and Israel should invigorate tourism between the two countries, intensify business and cultural contacts.

The Ministers also exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East as well as other regional and international issues of their concern.
