On May 28, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin met with President of Riigikogu of the Republic of Estonia Eiki Nestor, in the frameworks of his working visit to Ukraine in order to participate in the 8th Kyiv Security Forum.
Pavlo Klimkin expressed his gratitude to Estonia for its consistent and strong support of Ukraine and informed the Estonian Side about the current situation in Eastern Ukraine in the context of Russia’s violations of the Minsk Agreements, in particular the continuing military and information aggression of Russia.
The Parties also discussed other key issues on the agenda of international relations, including the results of the recent Eastern Partnership summit in Riga, exchanged their opinions concerning the European security and the EU sanction policy against Russia.
Speaker E.Nestor confirmed solidarity of Estonia with Ukraine and stressed on its readiness to provide further support to our country.
