On the first day of his working visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin visited the International Criminal Court, where he had meetings with the Acting President Judge Joyce Aluoch, Registrar Herman von Hebel and Deputy Prosecutor James Stewart.

During the meeting with Registrar Herman von Hebel Minister Pavlo Klimkin has lodged with him the Second Declaration accepting the Court jurisdiction with respect to crimes committed on the territory of Ukraine starting from February 20, 2014.
Minister Klimkin emphasized the moral obligation to investigate the crimes against humanity and war crimes, committed since the beginning of Russia's aggression against Ukraine.

Also, Minister Klimkin made a courtesy visit to the International Court of Justice.
On the second day of his visit, Minister for Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin is scheduled to have a meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands Bert Koenders.
