On October 28, 2010 Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Yevhen Mykytenko received Deputy Foreign Minister of Syria Abdulfattah Amura.

During the meeting the Sides discussed the work of the Seventh joint meeting of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Syrian committee on trade, economic and technical cooperation, which is being held currently in Kyiv.

Special attention was also paid to the issues of the further development of the contractual and legal basis between Ukraine and Syria.
