During the meeting the main attention was paid to visa liberalization between Ukraine and the EU. The Minister informed about the results of the realization of the second phase of Visa Liberalization Action Plan and the implementation of the recommendations expressed by the EU in the report on Ukraine’s progress in May 2015.

F.Timmermans welcomed the efforts being made by the Ukrainian side. P.Klimkin urged the European Commission to make a recommendation on introduction of the visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens in the report that the European Commission should prepare before December 15.

The sides also discussed the status of implementation of Minsk agreements and further support the EU in this direction in order to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

P.Klimkin and F.Timmermans also stopped on the issue of Ukraine’s cooperation with the EU in the implementation of  internal reforms.
