Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko received copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Chile to Ukraine (with residence in Warsaw) Alfredo García Castelblanco.

During the meeting Vadym Prystaiko expressed gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Chile for the support of territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. Deputy Minister especially thanked for the consistent position of the Chilean delegation during its powers as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council in 2014-2015.

The sides exchanged views on further deepening of the bilateral cooperation. Highest level return visits, further development of trade and economic ties as well as preparation for signing the Treaty between Ukraine and the Republic of Chile on Relations of Friendship and Cooperation were also discussed.
