Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Mykytenko received newly assigned Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Ukraine Yussef Hussein al-Ghabani, who presented the copies of his Credentials.

During the meeting the Sides discussed the state of the Ukrainian-Kuwaiti cooperation in political, economic, investment, humanitarian and other spheres. It was agreed that arranging in the nearest future the next round of the Intergovernmental commission on trade, economic and scientific cooperation and exchange of visits on the high and the highest levels would give a considerable impetus to the future development of bilateral relations. The Sides expressed their willingness to further expanding bilateral legal basis.

The prospects of attraction of the Kuwaiti investments to the Chornobyl Shelter Fund were also discussed.

Kuwaiti Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the Ukrainian Side for the medical aid which was provided by the Ukrainian specialized hospitals to the citizens of Kuwait.
