On September 2, 2010 Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Mr. Oleksandr Horin received the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba Felix Leon Carballo.

During the meeting a wide range of issues of Ukrainian-Cuban bilateral and multilateral cooperation and the agenda of forthcoming meetings at high level were discussed.

Special attention was paid to the perspectives of cooperation between Ukraine and Cuba in the field of trade and economy, culture, as well as in the framework of the «Assistance programme to provide medical care for the children, victims of Chernobyl and other ecocatastrophes».
