On July, 30th Mr. Volodymyr Khandogiy, Acting Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, met Mr. Bolat Nurgaliev, Special Representative of OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on protracted conflicts.

During conversation they discussed the ongoing status and the prospects of the Transnistrian settlement. Special attention was payed to the possibility of the official talks resumption within the «5+2» format and implementation of confidence building measures between the sides.

Volodymyr Khandogiy emphasized that the Ukrainian leadership highly appreciates the efforts made by Kazakhstan's OSCE Chairmanship-in-Office aimed at the promoting Transnistrian settlement process and, in particular, at the rapprochement of the positions of conflicting parties.
