Ukrainian-Palestinian political consultations co-chaired by Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr. Sergiy Kyslytsya and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Palestine Mr. Tayser Farahat were held on the 14th of April 2016 in Kyiv.

During the talks both sides focused on bilateral relations, in particular on practical steps towards further intensification of political dialogue, ways and means of strengthening economic cooperation and cooperation in the field of education and culture. The parties discussed the current domestic developments in Ukraine and Palestine as well.

Special attention was paid to the situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian question on UNSC Agenda, initiatives of international community regarding Israeli-Palestinian peace process and urgent issues of international agenda.
