On July 3, 2012 in Beijing, the first meeting of the Subcommission on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation has been held.

The Subcommission, jointly headed by Mr. Borys Grynyov, First Deputy Head of the State Agency on Science, Innovation and Informatization of Ukraine, and Mr. Cao Jianlin, Vice Minister of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, has approved the Programme of Scientific and Technology Cooperation between Ukraine and China for 2013-2014. The Programme includes a number of concrete projetcs for realization between Research and Education institutions of both countries.

H.E. Yurii Kostenko, Ambassador of Ukraine to China, took part in the work of the Subcommission.

While in China, the Ukrainian delegation will visit the Northwest Institute for Nonferrous Metal Research and Xian Comunication University.
