Emphasizing the high dynamics of bilateral contacts the Ambassador of Italy expressed gratitude to Ukraine for its readiness to provide assistance in elimination of aftermath of the recent earthquake in Italy.

During the meeting the sides stressed the importance of deepening of the Ukrainian-Italian bilateral cooperation particularly in economic sphere. According to Davide La Cecilia, the presidency of Italy in G7 will become an extra favourable factor for that.

He also noted the readiness of Italy to provide practical assistance to Ukraine in implementing the course of structural reforms.
