Ukrainian-Kuwaiti political consultations co-chaired by Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr. Sergiy Kyslytsya and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait Mr. Khaled Suleiman Al-Jarallah were held on the 3d of November 2016 in Kyiv.

The key points of the discussions were issues of bilateral relations, in particular, practical steps towards further intensification of political dialogue and the cooperation in the framework of international organizations, strengthening cooperation in the economic and investment spheres, as well as in medical and education fields.

Kuwaiti delegation was informed on situation in the Eastern Ukraine and occupied Crimea.

The Parties also exchanged views on topical issues of international agenda and the situation in the Middle East.

Memorandum of Understanding Between Saud N.Al-Sabah Kuwait Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait and Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine was signed in the framework of consultations.
