It is with deep sorrow that we learnt in Ukraine about the tragic events which took place in the Hakkari province on 19 October and resulted in 26 lives of the Turkish military personnel.

We strongly condemn this hideous act of terrorism and express our most sincere condolences to the friendly people of Turkey, to the families and relatives of those killed.



Ukraine has always supported the international efforts aimed at combating terrorism and stands ready for the continued co-operation in eradication of this criminal phenomenon.
