In the context of the recent official visit of H.E. Viktor Yanukovych, President of Ukraine, to Japan the prospects for cooperation in economic field, as well as the ways of implementing joint projects within the framework of the Green Investment Scheme were discussed.

On behalf of the Government of Japan, H.E. T. Sakata thanked to the Ukrainian side for providing humanitarian assistance and expressed its appreciation to the Government of Ukraine for readiness to continue to contribute to overcoming consequences of the accident at nuclear power plant «Fukushima Daiichi».
