On October 11, 2011 the Ukrainian-Columbian political consultations at the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers were held in Kyiv.
The Ukrainian delegation was headed by the Special Representative of Ukraine for the Middle East and Africa Yevhen Mykytenko, the Columbian delegation – by the Deputy Foreign Minister for Multilateral Affairs of the Republic of Columbia Patti Londoño Jaramillo.
The Parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for their further intensification in the spheres of mutual interest. Particular attention was paid to the strengthening of bilateral trade and economic cooperation and participation in promising projects. The Heads of delegations have also discussed the cooperation of Ukraine and Columbia within international organizations.
The political consultations were held within the framework of the official visit of the governmental delegation of the Republic of Columbia to Ukraine.
